"IF CHILDREN CANNOT GO TO SCHOOL
THEN THE SCHOOL MUST GO TO THE CHILDREN"    ... Mr. P.K. Khullar, President ABLE Charities.

Education
Primary education is one of the greatest needs of Indian population. Literacy, professional advancement and success in life are results of a good educational background. Despite its obvious benefits, primary education is not universally accessible to every child. Education in rural areas of Haryana has been and remains a luxury, a luxury often unattainable for the poor.

By providing good primary education, we can help these children improve their lives and of the people around them. Hence, the stress on education was laid. ABLE started with 8 children in 1998, and is now educating over 400 children with a target of reaching 1,000 by 2010. Our goal is to bring a transformation in the lives of these children. Our focus is to impart education to orphans and children of widows, who are below the poverty line, and also provide comprehensive medical cover. It is our experience that by and large these children are highly motivated, and they seek good education, so as to be at par with children having parents or belonging to higher castes. Approximately 98% of the children we supported in 2008 have obtained above average grades in their respective classes.

We wholeheartedly welcome you to be a partner of this society of compassion where even the most disadvantaged, receive adequate education to prepare them for a productive life. Please join us in adopting children for as little as $20 per child per month.
